Lawrence loved visiting with friends at the annual Loudonville Fair, listening to his grandson, Matt Young, entertaining, and attending his grandchildrens’ sporting events. He had a remarkable memory for people and where they lived. On November 20, 1952 he married Mary Collinge Baldner and she died in 1977.
